Cybersecurity at the Chamber

I had the privilege this month of speaking to the Eagle Chamber of Commerce about how to protect yourself from online scams and other threats. There are a lot of bad guys out there, but you can protect yourself in three main ways:
A password manager: This allows you to create long, complex, and most importantly unique passwords for every website.
Two-factor authentication: This means that even if your password is stolen, bad guys cannot access your accounts without your mobile phone as well.
Skepticism: If it looks suspicious, it probably is. Do not click on links from someone claiming to be your bank or online store. Your boss is not asking you to buy gift cards for a client. The IRS did not suspend your Social Security number. Be wary!
